About Opifera

I wanted my kids to learn the one money lesson that matters more than any other: money you leave alone grows, and the earlier you start, the longer it has to grow. Warren Buffett calls it the snowball. You start it early and you find a long hill.

The problem is that no bank will teach a seven-year-old that lesson. Real savings accounts pay children interest they cannot feel. So I became the bank myself: I hold the money, I set a rate generous enough to notice, and my kids watch their savings actually compound, month after month.

Opifera is the ledger and the lesson around that idea. It tracks the money families already manage for their kids, posts the interest parents promise, and turns saving into something a child can watch happen instead of something they get told about.

Opifera is a personal project, not a commercial product. There are no ads, nothing to buy, and no plans to sell your attention. It is free while it grows up.
